Example: Fernwhistle Cellars
A club newsletter your members actually open, from one short phone call.
The source recording
A 10-minute phone interview with Sofi, our interviewer, and the winemaker/owner: what's in the November club shipment, three bottles they'd give as gifts and why, a story from this year's harvest, the holiday open house date, and last-day-to-order reminders. No recording or writing needed from the winery.
The best gift bottle is the one with a story you can tell at the table.

Preview text: Your November shipment, a harvest story, and our holiday open house.
Every fall someone asks us the same question in the tasting room: "What should I bring to Thanksgiving?" So this week we sat down for a quick interview and answered it properly, along with a few things club members should know before the holidays.
Your November shipment. This month's club box has our new-release red blend, the last of the summer rosé, and a library bottle we pulled from the cellar for members only. Tasting notes and food ideas are tucked inside the box, and they're on the club page too.
Three bottles we'd wrap this year.
1. The red blend, for the host who's cooking. It's friendly with turkey, ham and whatever the vegetarian at the table brings.
2. The sparkling, for the person who has everything. Nobody ever says no to bubbles.
3. The library bottle, for the wine lover. It comes with a story: it's from the year the frost hit the lower block and we picked half the crop by headlamp.
A harvest story. This year's harvest ran nine days longer than last year's. A cool September meant the grapes took their time, and the crew spent a lot of early mornings tasting fruit straight off the vine to decide what to pick next. Our winemaker thinks it'll show in the wines, but you'll have to wait a while to find out.
Holiday open house. Club members are invited to our open house on the first Saturday in December, with tastings, a cheese table and gift wrapping on site. Bring a friend. Members' guests taste free.
Order-by reminder. If you want bottles to arrive before the holidays, place online orders by the date on our shop page. We'll post the exact cutoff once our shipping partner confirms it.

Our 2026 holiday gift guide: three bottles and the stories behind them
Every year our tasting room gets the same question in November: what should I bring to the table? This year we answered it with three bottles, each with a reason and a story.
The red blend is for the host who's cooking, because it gets along with almost everything on a holiday plate. The sparkling is for the person who has everything. And the library bottle is for the wine lover in your life. It comes from the year the frost hit the lower block and the crew picked half the crop by headlamp, which makes it a good story to tell when you pour it.
Club members will find all three in the shop, along with the date to order by for holiday delivery.
Four ways to keep the conversation going.
The same week, as branded graphics.
On the Text + Graphics plan, the same episode also becomes 3-5 graphics a week in your colors: quote cards, a carousel and a blog header.
- A quote card in the winery's own colors and fonts
- A gift-guide header built from real product photos the winery sends, or real screenshots of its shop page
- An open house date card
