Terms of Service

These terms explain how Source Desk LLC works with clients, what we each agree to, and what to expect. If anything here is unclear, email us and ask.
Services
Source Desk LLC is an independent content-writing service. Each week, a client sends us one recording or voice memo. We turn that recording into a newsletter, a blog draft, and about 8 social posts, delivered within two business days of receiving the recording, with one revision included.
Our service is $1,200 per month, billed month-to-month, as shown on our website. The deliverables above are what the monthly fee covers.
Free First Week
Your first week (7 days) is free.
You can cancel the free week any time before day 7, either through the Stripe customer portal link in your receipt email or by emailing george@getsourcedesk.com.
If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription bills $1,200/month automatically until you cancel.
Everything else in these terms, including the cancellation and refund terms under Payment and Cancellation, is unchanged by the free week.
Client Responsibilities and Rights to Source Material
You provide the recordings, notes, and any other material you send us. You confirm that you have the rights to that material and that sharing it with us does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You grant us permission to use your material only to produce your deliverables, and only for as long as we need in order to do that work. You are responsible for the material you send us and for how you use the content we deliver.
Ownership of Deliverables
Once you have paid for a delivery, you own the final deliverables — the newsletter, blog draft, and social posts we produce from your material.
We do not publish or share your material or your deliverables publicly without your permission.
Payment and Cancellation
Billing is monthly at $1,200 per month. You can cancel at any time before your next billing period, and your account does not renew after the period you have already paid for.
We do not refund fees for work we have already delivered.
No Guarantee of Results
We work to deliver content in your voice, on time, and worth publishing. We cannot guarantee any particular result — traffic, engagement, leads, sales, search rankings, or any other outcome are not part of our promise.
You decide what gets published, and you are responsible for how published content is used.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of our service is capped at the fees you paid us in the month before the issue arose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, even if we were told they might happen.
