Hi friend,
This week's episode was about something a lot of families tell us they wish they'd planned sooner: the first two weeks at home.
Rosa's main point: those weeks feel calmer when the practical questions are answered before the baby comes, not in the middle of the night.
The one-page "who's helping" list Rosa suggests filling out together:
- Meals: who is bringing or making dinner, and on which days?
- Visitors: who is welcome in week one, and who can wait until week three?
- Errands and house: who handles groceries, laundry and older kids or pets?
- Rest: when does each parent get a protected block of time to rest?
Rosa's reminder: this is a planning tool, not health advice. Questions about recovery, feeding or your baby's health go to your own care provider.
New call times. We've added weekday prenatal planning calls. Reply to this email and we'll send the booking link.
Warmly,
Rosa at Marrowby Family Support
The first two weeks home go better with a plan (here's a simple one)
In Ep. 18, Rosa talks about how much of early parenthood is logistics: meals, visitors, errands and finding time to rest.
The episode ends with a one-page "who's helping" list that partners can fill out together in about fifteen minutes, ideally a few weeks before the due date.
Four ways to keep the conversation going.
The same week, as branded graphics.
On the Growth + Graphics, the same episode also becomes 3-5 graphics a week in your colors: quote cards, a carousel and a blog header.
- An episode card with the title and the doula's own photo
- A "who's helping" carousel, one section per slide
- A call-times card using only the times the practice confirms
