Why every class starts at the whiteboard
Subject: Why every class starts at the whiteboard
Preview text: Plus Saturday's partner workout and our November intro week.
Hi friend,
On this week's episode, Coach Marisol explained why every Thistlewick class starts with five minutes at the whiteboard, even when everyone just wants to get moving.
Her answer: the whiteboard is where the coach tells you what today is for. One day it's moving well, another it's pacing, another it's lifting with good form. When you know what the day is for, you know what a good day looks like for you, whatever weight is on the bar.
Coach's tip from the episode. Read the board before you warm up, then pick one thing to focus on today. Just one.
This Saturday. Partner workout at 9 AM. Bring a friend; first-timers are welcome and will be paired with a coach.
November intro week. If someone you know has been "meaning to try it," our intro week runs the first week of November. Reply to this email and we'll save them a spot.
See you at the whiteboard,

Why every Thistlewick class starts at the whiteboard
Every class at Thistlewick starts the same way: five minutes at the whiteboard before anyone touches a bar. It can feel slow when you're ready to move, but it's on purpose.
The board tells you what today is for. Some days the focus is moving well, some days it's pacing, some days it's lifting with good form. Once you know the point of the day, you know what a good session looks like for you.
Coach Marisol's tip: read the board before you warm up, then pick one thing to focus on. Just one. You'll find the class schedule and our November intro week on the site.

On the Text + Graphics plan, the same episode also becomes 3-5 graphics a week in your colors: quote cards, a carousel and a blog header.
- A "What's today for?" card with the gym's own whiteboard photo and the episode title
- A coach's tip card: "Read the board. Pick one thing."
- An intro-week card using only the dates the gym confirms
